I’m Madeline (obvs), a brain-ambidextrous geeky surface pattern designer and handletterer. Unlike many creatives, I haven’t had a creative childhood. I was (am) good at math, which is what I pursued and has been the basis of my tech/business career for two decades.
Now, like many, I found art in 2020 – in my case, calligraphy and photography. One thing led to another, and now here I am, with what I never thought was in the cards for me: an art & design business.
Based in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada, I share my home with my husband and two daughters. I draw inspiration from everyday things, my kids and their art, and just a little bit of nature. Leveraging my entry into art, sometimes I make use of calligraphy or my photos in my designs. And let’s not forget, anything nerdy is definitely my jam! My designs and lettering are fun and effortless, and I hope they bring some joy into your life.
